ABOUT US

NY Community Ballet offers high-quality, affordable ballet classes for the professional dance community of New York City in a fun, encouraging, and non-judgmental environment. All classes are advanced level and taught by instructors who are active in the NYC dance scene as directors, choreographers, and performers.

Founded in 2015 by Mira Cook with the help of teachers Leigh Schanfein, Bethany Mitchell, Giorgia Bovo and Kyler Ernst-Alper, NY Community Ballet continues to pursue its mission: making daily class accessible to the freelance community with emphasis on technique, artistry, personal expression, freedom and experimentation.

Sliding scale begins at $10
($12 minimum on pianist days)

No pre-registration required. Please arrive early to sign in and complete payment via Venmo, PayPal, or cash before class begins.
